The ICAN DJ38 is a 26-inch carbon rim developed specifically for Dirt Jump, slopestyle, and pumptrack use. Compared with larger wheel sizes, 26″ offers quicker steering response and easier spin control, helping riders manage repeated takeoffs, rotations, and pump movements with less effort and more precision.

The DJ38 features a flat-top bead profile. Unlike sharp traditional bead hooks, the flat top creates a broader, more “blunt” contact area when the rim hits concrete lips, wooden ramps, or metal edges. Instead of concentrating impact force into a tiny sharp point, the load is spread across a wider flat surface, which structurally reduces the risk of severe dents and bead damage—especially on mixed-material Dirt / park spots.

Because Dirt Jump and slopestyle involve frequent big spins and strong lateral forces, the DJ38 uses a hooked bead design. The bead hook locks the tire bead securely in place, helping prevent the tire from rolling off or burping air during 360s, 720s, tailwhips, and other aggressive tricks. This gives riders a more secure, predictable interface between tire and rim in both training and competition.

With a 38 mm outer width, 30 mm inner width, and approximately 25 mm height, the DJ38 provides a solid platform for wide, high-pressure Dirt Jump tires. Landings feel direct and supportive without excessive tire squirm, while on pumptracks it becomes easier to translate vertical pumping into forward acceleration.

Constructed from carbon fiber with optimized wall thickness around 2 mm, the DJ38 comes in at roughly 460 g ± 15 g per rim, a pair of wheelset weight: 1920g± 30g.
